年終倒數，
有時會興高采烈，大伙兒吃一餐，興祝往年的丰收，回望加上展望。
有時會会寧願與家人留在家中，因人生如滴漏的倒數，又無奈地如常的渡過。
有時會把時間給了子女、家人；
有時會把時間給回自己。
有時會安靜靜默在主面前，又願意把個人的意欲放在一旁。
若以數學運算，每刻的時間比對人生餘下的光陰愈後愈見珍貴。
年底檢討人生、安靜稍歇是必需的。
怎樣有效率的運用時間時間也照樣逝去。
不如專心立志做好必須做的事情。
有那些事情必需做？
有說就算怎樣準備，那樣東西失靈便做不來！
所以要：
倚靠上帝志不變
持續禱告讀經不減
實現基督在裏面不斷。
不是我一定要做某件事情，
或一定要達到某一個目標，
而只是要跟隨主的腳踪，是向前行不後退。
「只有一件事，忘記背後，努力面前的，向著標竿直跑。」每年皆準。
惟主是標竿！
求主常與我們同在。AMEN

回覆刪除3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon.
3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
3:14 If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
According to Apostle Paul, life can be looked like the building work with gold, silver and precious stone or wood, hay and stubble. The result makes a big difference when they are subject to a serious test of fire. Very obviously, only gold, silver and precious stone can be retained and not burnt away in fire whereas wood, hay and stubble will be totally destroyed like ash after burning in fire. Then, for last year, how much I can retain if the God put my life works into righteous test of fire. Can it stand solidly and sturdily like gold in fire? As I review my life seriously and honestly in the eyes of God, I am afraid not much are good and pure enough to retain after the fire of the righteous God. I pray that the loving God will forgive me in His great mercy and kindness for those errors and mistakes that I have made.
When we look back, the loving God does not mean we are giving up or just regret sadly what we have done and lost. The honest and open review of ourselves by the end of a year is a factual and kind reminder how we should be humble and active and positive to work and serve better for the new year to come.
I agree we need to forget the past, try our best at present, heading to the milestone and destination as set by the Lord. Our life journey is not yet finished, though the time remaining is not known. We should learn to have the spiritual wisdom like the godly servant, Moses, encouraging us:
Psalms
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Let us treasure every day because we do not know how many days the God has left for us to go to. Moreover, all we do and work will be subject to the final test of fire in front of the God. In simple words, we need to submit our life coursework or assignment to our life teacher, life shepherd, life saviour and Lord of life, who give His final mark on our life achievement with rewards when we meet the God in the Heaven.
Before the examination time is up and closed, before we conclude and submit our coursework and assignment on life, we still have new opportunity to work better, improve further and satisfy our Lord happier in the grace of the God.
We do not just look back. We have to move and go forward and focus our life target and goal as set by the God. We cannot afford to waste too much time, especially, we are not yet in the earlier start of the life journey. Time is precious. Let us move on and do our best to serve the Lord in the grace and love of the God. Amen.
